Today I am going to be speaking about an online game called Farmville. Most online games that are free are popular but Farmville is fast becoming the most popular of all. One of the main reasons for its fast growth in popularity is because it is played via Facebook which means it has a lot of exposure. The idea of the game is to grow a farm and to make money from it. When you grow your crops you can then sell them and that is how you make money. Obviously this is virtual money that is for the game only, it isn’t real. You need to grow as many crops as you can so that you will have more to sell and therefor make more money. Once you’ve sold your crops you can then spend the money on farm accessories. You can buy various homes and barns for your farm. You can also buy things like tractors and other forms of agricultural vehicles. You also have a personal player level that you need to try and increase. The highest level you can get is level 70 although getting to that level takes a lot of dedication. A large part of the game is making friends with other people, they’re then known as your neighbours. It is important to get as many neighbours as you can because they can help you to increase your level. To increase your player level you need to maintain your farm and harvest your crops. However experience points (which determine your player level) can be earned by working on other peoples farms. If you can aquire a lot of neighbours you will be able to work on all their farms which will help you increase your level quickly. Another upside of working on other people’s farms is that the work will be appreciated and they will recommend you to their neighbours. Once this has happened you will have a large network of neighbours and a lot of them will come and work on your farm. This will improve your farm on autopilot as long as the effort goes into getting a quality network of neighbours in the first place. After reading a really helpful farmville guide I have been able to learn a lot about the game. and more importantly figure out what works and what doesn’t.
