Are you looking for your next tax lien property
Before you invest in any tax lien properties it is crucial that you can clearly identify your target market. In other words, who is your tenant likely to be? Obviously, there is a very wide choice and the price, location, style and decor of the property will all come into play once you have decided which end of the market to target. I mean, if you buy a student let as a property lien, you don’t want it to be in the most expensive part of town where they loathe bicycles.
Similarly, if you are going for the corporate let, those tenants will need more space for entertaining and will expect very high quality furnishings.
It is a fact that the properties that are the most up to date, recently decorated, well presented and well equipped will let the fastest. Young professionals, with their disposable income, demand apartments within high specification new developments in desirable locations. They like high-tech designer living. It is an extension of their designer-led, label-conscious lifestyle. All my rental properties are aimed at people who fall into this bracket, but you may be more interested in letting to:
groups of students
a single student
group of single people
a single person
a couple
a family
an elderly couple (retirement home).
