Take time to list, either on paper or on a word processor, every situation that makes you feel shy. List every situation you can think of. Once they are listed, sort the situations in order of difficulty. You may find it easy talking to a family member. If a situation doesn’t cause you any shyness issues at all don’t add it to your list. The thing is, for those who want to learn how to get over shyness, there are things you can do. But the first thing you need to get with is that your shyness is mental. If you can get past that, there are many good things that can come your way. Stop being shy and start living.
